We would like to hear from you if you:

  • are enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • are willing to undertake personal care
  • are able to work effectively within our hardworking, talented and friendly team on whole school issues
  • enjoy working with children and can develop good working relationships with them
  • understand and are sympathetic to the needs of young children
  • have knowledge and experience of the KS2 curriculum
  • have experience of supporting children’s learning (a level 3 qualification is desirable but not essential)
  • have experience of or are willing to learn about delivering interventions to individuals or small groups
  • have a current First Aid or be prepared to undertake training

This thriving Acorn Education Trust school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work with children in the Year 4 at our friendly and welcoming school. The Avenue Primary School is set in the charming market town of Warminster, Wiltshire. As part of the Acorn Education Trust it provides exciting opportunities to improve local education.
