Teaching Assistant to work in Enhance Provision Unit job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and skilled Grade 4 Teaching Assistant to join our team in the Enhance Provision Unit, The Hive. The Hive is a provision that caters for pupils from different primary schools who find accessing the mainstream classroom challenging. It is led by a qualified teacher, and this role would be to support the teacher in delivering the provision within The Hive and to facilitate and support the pupils learning and engagement. The Hive is within our school grounds so the successful candidate would be welcomed as a member of the John Clifford team. If this sounds like the right fit for you, then we want to hear from you and would welcome you visiting and meeting with the Headteacher.

It is a vibrant school with a mission to provide every child with a journey of learning to promote academic success, alongside developing their curiosity of character and spirit of contribution. We are guided by the John Clifford Promises to take care, whilst fostering a culture of high expectations.
Our school community has a strong sense of belonging and we recognise difference and celebrate diversity. A new Headteacher joined John Clifford in January 2026 and together we are committed to continuing to build and strengthen the provision offered to our pupils. The staff are hardworking and committed, we strive to go beyond expectation in education and experience and provide support and care to enable all leaners to be the best that they can be.
