What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Have experience of working with children across the primary phase
  • Be fully committed to both aspects of the role: working with children with additional needs on a 1:1 basis when assigned and supporting the class teacher as a general teaching assistant.
  • Have the skills to support the learning, social interaction and welfare of individual pupils with a range of needs.
  • Support the class teacher to provide the best opportunities and outcomes for our children
  • Be motivated, flexible and understanding
  • Have a willingness and enthusiasm to develop new skills
