Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking to appoint a friendly and caring experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team. The role will be Mon-Fri working from 8.30 - 3.00pm with 30 minutes for lunch.

The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated to making a difference to children's learning. You will need to enjoy working with children and be passionate and committed to helping children develop as independent and confident individuals. This role will help support pupils to access all aspects of learning and self-help skills and will include working with children who have physical support needs. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and assistant headteacher.

You will need to have a NVQ level 3 and a GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths (C or above) with a high standard of written and spoken English.
