Teaching Assistant with some 1:1 responsibilities job summary
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with some 1:1 responsibilities, to join our amazing school family at St Nicholas CE Primary Academy.
30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Salary Scale: G3.6 – G3.9
Actual Salary: £ 18,081 - £19,001
Temporary Position until 31st August 2029 or when the child leaves the school
The post is temporary to support a child who has additional needs, in accordance with their Educational Health Care Plan, and will be reviewed in line with the emerging/changing/ growing needs of the child and school.

We are seeking to appoint a caring, compassionate, and enthusiastic person to join our wonderful school family in a challenging, but rewarding, role.
Candidate should have a good understanding of how to support primary age children with additional needs, be able to develop trusting relationships, be caring, flexible, patient, an excellent communicator and support the school’s Christian ethos. Above all you must be willing to work hard! Experience of working with a range of pupils would be desirable but not essential.
This post includes supporting children outdoors during lunchtime play.
