What skills and experience we're looking for
In addition to the ability to perform the duties of the post, issues relating to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children will need to be demonstrated; these will include:
Motivation to work with children and young people,
Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people,
Emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours,
Attitudes to the use of authority and maintaining discipline.

Garden Village Academy is open for Nursery and Reception aged pupils and then grow year-on-year up to Year 6. In September 2025, we welcome applications who will work closely with the Year One Class Teacher to provide an enriched learning journey for children in the newly built community.
