The school wish to appoint a number of highly motivated, enthusiastic and imaginative Teaching Assistants to support the learning of pupils. These positions will be to commence from 1st September 2022, or earlier if possible. Some posts will be permanent, whilst others fixed-term.
The successful candidates will work under guidance, implement work programmes for individuals and groups, and provide feedback to teachers to assist in the whole planning cycle and in the management and preparation of resources.
Ayresome is committed to training one Teacher Apprentice, each year, over the next three years. This apprentice post will be recruited internally within the Ayresome staff, therefore these posts may be an interest to candidates who hold the required qualification and are considering a future teaching career.
Applicants will possess at least an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. The school is looking for applicants with excellent communication and IT skills, who can develop effective relationships with pupils and colleagues, and are able to follow teachers’ plans.
Candidates will have experience of working as a classroom or teaching assistant within a primary school environment. Candidates should also be suitably qualified and experienced and be able to meet the criteria detailed on the person specification.
