What skills and experience we're looking for

Due to the expansion of our SEN provision, exciting opportunities have arisen at Westfield Academy for two Teaching Assistants. Experienced and enthusiastic individuals are required from September 2026 to join our dedicated team supporting students with special educational needs. You will be calm with the ability to be firm and patient and have excellent written, numeracy and oral communication skills. Supporting curriculum classes is a key element of the role, alongside delivery of 1-2-1 and small group interventions. Whilst previous experience in a similar teaching assistant role is preferred, applications from individuals with experience of working with children and the right personal qualities are welcomed, as full training and support will be provided
