It is an exciting time to join us. When Ofsted visited in May 2018 they were clear that we were making real progress. We have made rapid progress since this inspection.
“Improvements are increasingly evident, including in the progress made by the pupils. Leaders and staff have responded well to the challenges set by the principal and an incisive governing body.” (Ofsted)
“The sixth form is good. Sixth-form students attend well and are punctual. Higher quality teaching in the sixth form helps students to make good progress in academic and vocational courses.” (Ofsted)
Our sponsor is Haileybury, the leading independent school, 7 miles north of our school (a few miles north of the M25). It has recently provided significant extra resources to make sure we keep improving quickly.
