What skills and experience we're looking for
Brymore is a State Boarding School for boys aged 11 – 16 set in its own 60-acre site with a working farm, gardens, workshops and sports facilities.
We are looking for a well organised, practical and understanding individual to join the Academy as a Technician. Predominantly supporting Design and Technology but also supporting the Horticulture and Art departments when required. The main purpose of the Technician role is to assist in the teaching, delivery and maintenance of the department, and to support teaching and learning within the department.
You will need to be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent in literacy and numeracy, with experience of dealing with young people. Experience of supporting students within an educational setting would be an advantage.

This role is to working 37 hours per week, 36 weeks per year (Term time + inset days + occasional Saturday working)

Brymore is a State Boarding School for boys aged 11 - 17 set in its own 60 acre site in the Quantocks, an area of outstanding natural beauty, with a working farm, gardens, workshops and sports facilities which are fully utilised in the delivery of the curriculum to over 320 students of which 130 are boarders. The school is currently expanding and this is an exciting time in Brymore’s development.
