Technician - Art, Design & Food Department (Part-Time)
Location: Stamford Welland Academy
Working Days: Monday & Tuesday
Hours: 08:30am - 16:00pm

Role Summary:
Stamford Welland Academy is seeking a practical and enthusiastic Technician to support the Art, Design & Food departments. This part-time role is ideal for someone with a creative flair and strong organisational skills, who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and supporting teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for practical lessons in art, design technology, and food.
  • Maintain and organise stock, resources, and specialist equipment (e.g. sewing machines, ovens, tools).
  • Support staff and students during practical sessions, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment and machinery.
  • Assist with displays of student work and general upkeep of teaching spaces.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including COSHH and food hygiene standards.
