Working pattern
- Part time: The post will be for 5 hours a week in the first instance to keep the site tidy and do general small repairs. The role would require the successful candidate to be locally available for gritting of the site in icy conditions and to enable access by contractors during out of school hours when required. Extra hours pay would be available if these requests went over the 5 hours weekly payment.

What skills and experience we're looking for
- Ability to perform general repairs and keep the site tidy
- Able to carry out fire alarm and emergency light testing as required on a weekly basis
- Lock and unlock school buildings and areas
- Undertake regular security checks and identify security risks
- Provide emergency access to the school site
- To undertake regular site inspections
- To keep the grounds tidy – litter picking, leaf removal, waste disposal as required
- To maintain safety around the school grounds through timely gritting in icy weather
- To identify defects and record repair and maintenance requirements
- To maintain Health and Safety records in accordance with the needs of the site and the Risk Assessments.
- Comply with all policies and procedures in regard to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to the appropriate person.
