Temporary EYFS Class Teacher for FS1 or FS2 for Summer Term 2021 - from 19th April 2021 or sooner job summary

The Headteacher is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated EYFS Teacher for Nursery or Reception, with outstanding teaching skills. This is a temporary vacancy for the Summer Term 2021 only and will commence from 19th April 2021, or sooner. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team with teaching and support staff are essential. A specific interest in EYFS is essential. The successful candidate will have high expectations of pupil progress and will provide challenging, high quality and creative learning opportunities for all children. Please state in your application your preference for Nursery or Reception, your curriculum strengths and areas of interest. Applications from experienced and newly or recently qualified teachers are welcome.

Birley Primary Academy joined L.E.A.D Academy Trust in February 2017 together with four other schools in the Birley family. This is an exciting time to join our Academy and contribute to a successful learning environment for our children.

We are a large primary school in south east Sheffield, admitting children from 3 to 11 years with Foundation Stage 1 (nursery) provision for 104 children. Our admissions number is 90 children across all other year groups. The school was last inspected by Ofsted in 2019 and was judged to be good.
