What skills and experience we're looking for

Redcastle Family School successfully opened our Special Resource Base to children with autism in 2021 as part of our commitment to support the needs of SEND children across Thetford and the local area.

We are now thrilled to be opening two new specialist resource bases to support varying profiles of SEND; an 8 place infant provision (EIH) and an 8 place junior base (AIH) which will work within our main school in an integrated approach.

Comprising of three class spaces, a sensory room, and multiple break out spaces. We are looking for a number of professionals to join us on the next stage of our special journey.

We are looking to appoint either an experienced practitioner with SEND or a teacher who would like to develop a career path in SEND teaching. Therefore, both experienced practitioners and those eager to develop these skills, including ECT’s, are welcome to apply. This is an exciting opportunity to have a significant impact on outcomes for children, while developing your own practice through nationally recognised professional development.
