An opportunity has arisen for a diligent and confident Trust Finance Manager to join our supportive and friendly Trust Central Team.

The Central Trust Team are a cohesive highly skilled group working collaboratively at our purpose-built central office in Oadby, Leicestershire. The role will be primarily based at our central office with the opportunity to work with and regularly visit our schools.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed finance professional to oversee the day-to-day financial activity of the Trust, working alongside the Trust Finance Officer and the Chief Finance Officer. The post is full time, 37 hours per week, all year round, although part time working would be considered for the right candidate.
The Trust Finance Manager leads the central finance function and is responsible for managing the organisation’s financial processes and systems, advising on and ensuring effective provision of financial management across the Trust, and the provision of professional support and guidance to all schools and extended services within the Trust.
The ideal candidate will:
- have at least 5 years’ experience of working in a finance role
- hold a relevant qualification or equivalent experience
- good communication and interpersonal skills, including the confidence in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders
- proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude
- strong attention to detail
- Finance experience within an education environment is desirable although not essential
