What skills and experience we're looking for
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide confidential general administrative support
- Manage correspondence including emails and telephone queries
- Process purchase orders and support staff with supplier and pricing queries
- Process invoices accurately and promptly, ensuring correct matching to purchase orders and goods received
- Process BACS payments
- Complete new supplier due diligence checks
- Maintain accurate financial records within Access Finance to support payment and reconciliation processes
- Process charge card transactions as required
- Support the preparation of cash and cheques for banking
- Assist in maintaining the asset register
- Support the administration of Parentpay/Scopay including school trips
- Assist with ensuring catering income and numbers are accurately recorded
- Support with the preparation of year-end documentation and audits (internal and external)
- Undertake lettings administration including raising sales invoices
About you:
- Demonstrable experience in a finance or accounting role
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using financial systems and Microsoft office applications including Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
- Proactive, with a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
- Committed to maintaining confidentiality and high levels of accuracy
