This role would suit someone who is organised, approachable and detail-focused, who enjoys working with people and welcomes a varied role. If you take pride in providing excellent administrative support and building positive working relationships, we would be delighted to hear from you.
The HR team is based at Ilkley Grammar School and is a friendly, supportive team. We collaborate, learn from each and have a solution-focused, positive approach.
Moorlands Learning Trust is a partnership of schools, and we have 10 schools currently, located in Leeds, North Yorkshire and Bradford. Partnership working is central to our approach. Our schools learn from and support one another, sharing expertise while serving their individual communities. We want colleagues across the Trust to feel valued, supported and able to thrive professionally.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Can prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines and maintain accurate records.
- Communicates professionally and sensitively with colleagues, applicants and external contacts.
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and handles personal information with discretion.
- Is confident using Microsoft Office and willing to learn HR systems and processes.
- Works collaboratively while also using initiative to complete tasks independently.
- Is committed to safeguarding, safer recruitment and the Trust’s values.
In return for your commitment, we can offer:
- A rewarding role supporting colleagues and schools across Moorlands Learning Trust.
- A collaborative working environment with a strong team ethos.
- Opportunities for professional development and career pathways.
- A Trust that values staff wellbeing and professional growth.
- The chance to contribute and make a difference, supporting our schools and the communities they serve.
