Trust Payroll and Finance Officer

Part/Full Time (min 15 hours)
Permanent - Term time plus 4 weeks
We are seeking an experienced payroll/finance officer to take on payroll for 3 Trust schools initially. Based in the AET Hub at Garden Fields JMI, in the event of part time hours this will be required to be annualised to ebb and flow with the needs of payroll.
Primary responsibilities will include the accurate and timely administration of the monthly payroll for some of the Trust’s 700+ employees utilising the Edupay system and working with Edupay to ensure timely and accurate monthly submissions, pension schemes and all regulatory bodies (e.g. HMRC). You will be required to interpret and process large volumes of complex and sensitive payroll and pension related information and be the first point of contact for pay related queries.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, proven data analysis and numeracy experience with exceptional attention to detail. You will have an understanding, or willingness to develop and aptitude to learn, financial processes and procedures, and of basic financial policies and accounting code structures including purchase ledgers.
