We are excited to offer a rare opportunity for a passionate, dynamic and inspiring Trust Work Experience and Industry Coordinator to join our Careers Team.

The opportunity to join the Careers Team within the Trust at a time of significant development is an exciting one. We have a new, national work experience guarantee from September, which the Trust have been at the forefront of national policy on, and our Academies have ambitious post-16 vocational and technical programmes which rely on the support of employers and industry. The role holder will deliver and implement the Trust’s strategy for the modern work experience guarantee, and support Academy Sixth Form teams in managing industry placements which are relevant and aspirational.

The role will involve leading on our engagement with employers, and developing meaningful relationships and partnerships with businesses, to generate opportunities for our students to experience meaningful and high-quality industry placements and work experience opportunities. Working closely with Academy Careers Teams, you will coordinate high-quality work experience and industry placement programmes, ensuring they are safe, impactful and accessible to all learners.

The role will involve administering our work experience programmes, collaborating with Academy Careers Teams on innovative approaches to workplace experiences, and driving our engagement with businesses and industry. You will also support the delivery of industry placements associated with our expanding post-16 and T Level provision. The Employer Engagement and Partnerships Lead will be our champion for employer voice across our Trust, ensuring that our apprenticeships, careers curriculum and post-16 courses are being driven by the wants and needs of industry.

The successful candidate will have experience of successfully working with employers and businesses and/or working in schools, and a clear passion for creating life changing opportunities for young people. There is the opportunity to undertake professional careers qualifications through the Level 6 Careers Development Professional Apprenticeship as part of the role.
