Vice Principal - Curriculum job summary

The role of the Vice Principal (Curriculum) is crucial in developing the ethos of achievement within the school, in harmony with the aims and ethos of the whole school. This role is key to the success and development of the school, and the raising of student achievement, ensuring that targets for improvement are set and met, through positive approaches to curriculum development, the planning and preparation of schemes of work, the monitoring of learning and teaching, and the support and development of staff. The Vice Principal (Curriculum ) role forms a vital part of the leadership team therefore a good knowledge of educational issues is expected, keeping up to date to lead on improving pedagogy and practice.
