Start date: September 2024
Rate: £38.50 per hour
Closing Date: 16th July 2024, 12pm
Hours: The outgoing teacher currently has 2.5 hours of teaching. There is also the potential for hours to increase as the year progresses and more students sign up.
The Role:
Ark Bolingbroke Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Violin teacher from 1 September 2024. The successful candidate will have experience both as a performer and teacher. A particular interest in teaching beginners up to Grade 5.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Provide sound instruction on their principal instrument/s
- Encourage regular and intelligent practice by setting tasks for practice between lessons
- Enter pupils for examinations where appropriate
- Encourage pupils to take part in ensembles
- Advise pupils who wish to purchase their own instrument
- Monitor students’ attendance, practice and progress
- Accompany and participate in school concerts where needed
