Are you friendly, motivated, and passionate about supporting children in a positive school environment? We are looking for a dedicated Welfare Assistant to join our warm and welcoming school community.

About the Role

As a key member of our Lunchtime Supervisory team, you will help ensure that pupils enjoy a safe, happy, and well‑managed lunch break. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground, and across the school premises during lunchtime.
  • Supporting pupils’ wellbeing and promoting positive behaviour.
  • Encouraging safe play and helping to create a calm, friendly midday environment.
  • Working independently or as part of a supportive team to manage the lunchtime routine effectively.

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Is highly motivated and enjoys working with children.
  • Can build positive relationships and communicate well with pupils.
  • Can supervise children confidently and safely, either alone or within a team.
  • Brings energy, warmth, and reliability to every day.

You’ll be joining a friendly, like‑minded staff team who value collaboration and care deeply about the pupils they support.
