Are you looking to join a school community where wellbeing is central, relationships come first, and your skills can make a lasting difference to young people’s lives?

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellbeing Practitioner to join our established Wellbeing Team at The St Marylebone CE Bridge School. This is a unique opportunity to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, working both directly with young people and families, and contributing to whole-school approaches that promote inclusion and positive wellbeing.

About the School

The St Marylebone CE Bridge School is a co-educational Special Free School for students aged 11-16 with EHCPs for Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). Many of our students also experience social, emotional and mental health needs, and we are committed to supporting the whole child — their learning, wellbeing and future independence.

We are proud of our diverse community and welcome staff and students from all backgrounds, faiths, and none. Our nurturing environment combines academic progress with personal growth, preparing pupils for confident and successful futures.

About the Role

As a Wellbeing Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and group interventions to pupils experiencing anxiety, low mood, resilience or friendship difficulties.

  • Support the delivery of wellbeing and mental health lessons and structured programmes.

  • Offer advice and practical strategies to families and staff to support wellbeing at home and in the classroom.

  • Work as part of our Interdisciplinary Team (Wellbeing, SaLT, OT and Behaviour), contributing to holistic pupil support and collaborating closely with external agencies such as CAMHS.

This is a varied and rewarding role, with the chance to make a tangible difference in pupils’ lives while working as part of a reflective, supportive and values-driven team.

What We Offer
  • A close-knit, collaborative Wellbeing Team with regular supervision and CPD

  • Opportunities to work alongside therapists and teachers in an interdisciplinary team

  • A nurturing, relationship-focused school community where wellbeing is truly valued

  • Paid school holidays
