At Danecourt School, we believe that learning doesn’t stop when the school day ends. Our wraparound provision plays a vital role in supporting our pupils’ development, wellbeing and independence in a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.

We are looking for a Wraparound Care Manager to lead and develop our extended provision, including after-school and holiday provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children with SEND and ready to take the next step into a leadership role.

About the Role

As Wraparound Care Manager, you will:

  • Lead, organise and develop our wraparound care provision, ensuring a high-quality, inclusive experience for all pupils

  • Line manage and support a team of staff, including Teaching Assistants and Extended Day Workers

  • Plan and oversee engaging activities that promote independence, communication, social skills and wellbeing

  • Ensure the provision operates safely, with full responsibility for safeguarding, health & safety and compliance

  • Build positive relationships with families, supporting pupils’ individual needs

  • Play a key role in shaping and growing the provision, including holiday clubs

This role goes beyond day-to-day organisation — you will be responsible for the overall quality and development of the provision. Who you Are We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children, ideally within a SEND or specialist setting

  • Has experience leading or coordinating others (or is ready to step into a leadership role)

  • Is confident managing a team and supporting staff development

  • Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and child-centred practice

  • Is organised, proactive and able to make decisions independently

  • Is passionate about creating meaningful, inclusive experiences for children
