Position: Wrap Around Care Supervisor

Start Date: 01.04.2026

Contract: Fixed Term for one year in the first instance, Term Time Only

Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday 7.30-8.45am and 3pm-6pm.

Salary: £25,583.00 FTE (£11,894.54 pro rata)

The Role
We are seeking a reliable wrap around care supervisor to join our happy and forward-thinking academy who will work under the direction and instruction of senior staff to help provide safe and stimulating care for children.The successful candidate will be integral to our school's breakfast and after school care club called ‘Little Ways’ ensuring smooth administrative processes, a nurturing approach and contributing to our strong Catholic ethos. There may be options to work as part of a job-share for this role, this can be discussed at interview where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help to plan a range of suitable activities for children with an age range of 4 - 11 on a half-term basis.

  • Serve breakfast and snacks, supervising children carefully

  • Treating all children as individuals and to have a secure knowledge and understanding of their needs while they are within our care.

  • Motivating and encouraging the children to participate in activities and helping to promote the children’s self-esteem and encouraging acceptance of children with special needs.

  • Ensure a clean, tidy environment conducive to fostering good Health and Safety practice and keep careful record of attendance and fees.

  • Ensuring the welfare and safety of children within our care.

  • Contribute to the strong Catholic ethos of our academy.

  • Work in partnership with pupils, staff, parents, governors.
