Location: Rushmere Hall Primary School, Lanark Road, Ipswich, IP4 3EJ
Contract type: 1 year maternity cover, 38 weeks term time only
Hours: 7.92 hours per week, working Mondays to Fridays 07:15 – 08:50

Start Date: As soon as possible or September 2025
Salary: £2,969 per annum (actual salary) – Grade 2, pt 2
Location: Rushmere Hall Primary School, Lanark Road, Ipswich, IP4 3EJ
Contract type: Permanent, 38 weeks term time only
Hours: 5.5 hours per week, working Tuesdays and Wednesdays 15:15 – 18:00

Rushmere Primary School is looking for a Wraparound Care Assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate will be:
Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
Help to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all children.
Encourage positive interactions and play amongst the children and organising games and activities.
Engage with the children in a positive and encouraging manner.
Implement the school's behaviour policy and address any minor issues appropriately.
Report any concerns regarding a child's welfare or behaviour to the nominated person or Designated safeguarding lead (using the schools safeguarding system).
Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Prepare simple food and beverages.
