Wraparound Care Leader - Breakfast Club job summary

Heytesbury Church of England Primary School is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Breakfast Club Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of our before-school provision.

Contract: Fixed Term (until 25th March 2027). Working Hours: 5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7.40 am until 8.40 am, 38 weeks, no Teacher Training days. Required: April 2026.

We are a caring and vibrant small primary school with mixed age classes, educating children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. Located in the village of Heytesbury, near Warminster, Wiltshire, our school has close links with the local community and the church of St Peter & St Paul. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children who attend. This role involves planning and organising a range of activities suitable for primary-aged children, taking into account their interests and developmental needs.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children;
• Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
• Is self-motivated, energetic and proactive and will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality education and care for all of our children;
• Has experience of working with children in a play / educational setting;
• Has Food handling experience and/or a Food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one);
• Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations;
• Is a strong team player able to support colleagues within a small team;
• ]Has a positive and flexible attitude;
• Can demonstrate a warm and caring approach with children;
• Is First Aid trained (advantageous).
