This is a happy, exciting learning community where everyone who works here, or visits us, is made to feel welcome and valued. We have an emphasis on working hard, challenging ourselves, being independent learners and having fun.
We are a Catholic school with values rooted in the teachings of Jesus and work hard to foster these values in our children. The spiritual, moral, emotional and social well-being of every child is a priority to us.
We aim to provide a happy, loving, learning atmosphere, with close liaison between home, school, parish and the wider community, recognising the shared responsibility we have in the all-round development of our children. We are very proud that we really are a 'school family'.
In this school we believe that all children are unique and must be celebrated for the special gifts and talents that they possess. Each day we encourage our children to work hard, have a positive mind-set, have the confidence to make mistakes, persevere and not give up – in order to succeed, and to feel good about themselves. This way they will have the courage to make their unique contribution in the world and achieve to their very best.
We offer a broad and balanced curriculum rooted in our locality and enriched with visitors, visits, events and activities to inspire in each child a joy for learning. We expect all our children to be honest, respectful and caring to others and to work hard to develop a range of skills allowing them to achieve success now and in the future.
We are very proud of all our children - the progress they make and all that they achieve under the guidance and care of our wonderful staff. The children in our care are at the heart of everything we do. Every pupil at our school should leave knowing God’s love and being able to show God’s love.
If you would like to make an appointment to visit our school, I would be delighted to show you around.
