Charing Church of England Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, inspirational, and committed Year 1 Teacher to join our welcoming and ambitious school community. We are looking for a talented practitioner who is passionate about providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences that inspire children to achieve their full potential.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT) to become part of a supportive team that places children's learning, wellbeing, and development at the heart of everything we do.

- Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching practices.

- Builds positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
- Has excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

We are a small village primary school in the beautiful village of Charing, close to Ashford, that is growing rapidly. We currently have over 130 children on roll and 6 classes from years R through to 6. In September 2022, we were all very excited as the school opened our preschool class, Ducklings for 2 to 4 year olds. In October 2021, the school maintained its ‘Good’ Ofsted grading; the report can be found in the key information section of this website.
