What skills and experience we're looking for
As our Year 1 Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences through play, exploration and inquiry
- Create a warm, stimulating classroom environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired
- Support children’s transition from EYFS into Year 1 in a thoughtful and developmentally appropriate way
- Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Observe children carefully and use assessment to inform next steps in learning
- Foster independence, resilience, creativity and a love of learning
- Work collaboratively as part of a committed and supportive team
