Year 1 Teaching Assistant - Level 2 job summary

Due to an increase in funding, we are seeking to appoint a part-time teaching assistant to support teaching and learning in Year 1

Monday-Wednesday 8.30-12.30. This role will compromise of supporting whole class teaching, small group activities and a times

supporting individual children.

We require a caring, committed individual who has the ability to work as part of the school team and inspire trust and confidence in

children.

We are looking for teaching assistants with experience who:

Can demonstrate outstanding classroom practice

Has high expectations of children, behaviour and personal development

Has a passion for supporting the needs of all children

Has a positive outlook and loves developing children's learning

Initially, this position is fixed term contract with the possibility of extending this beyond the academic year. Applicants are welcome
