What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Ability to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that support all learners
  • Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour
  • Ability to create a warm, structured and positive classroom environment
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to differentiate effectively to meet a range of learning needs
  • Good organisational and planning skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
