• Working pattern: Part time (Can be done as a job share): Daily 11am - 4pm Monday to Thursday Friday 11am-3pm Summer term and 10:30am-12pm terms 1/2

What skills and experience we're looking for

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2

Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment requirements

Ability to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that support all learners

Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour

Ability to create a warm, structured and positive classroom environment

Strong classroom management skills

Ability to differentiate effectively to meet a range of learning needs

Good organisational and planning skills

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Alignment with the ethos and values of the school
