About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and committed Class Teacher to join our team. This role is open to Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers alike. You will bring strong classroom practice and a commitment to inclusive, high-quality teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all children
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel valued and motivated to learn
- Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform next steps in learning
- Set high expectations for behaviour, learning, and personal development, fostering a positive classroom culture
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leaders to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the wider school community to support children’s development
- Reflect on and continuously improve your practice through professional development and feedback
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events, enrichment activities, and school improvement initiatives
What the school offers its staff
The Carlton Infant Academy is part of Redhill Academy Trust. The Academy is also a member of Redhill College of Leadership and Development and as such there are excellent CPD opportunities and a chance to work alongside colleagues from other high-performing schools in the region. The Trust also leads the regional Teaching School Hub, delivering local teacher training and the National Professional Qualifications for teachers.
