Beaconside Primary and Nursery School is seeking ahighly motivated and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacherto join our passionate team on a maternity cover basis. Full-time is required but 4 days would be considered for the right applicant. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, inspiring, and inclusive lessons tailored to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that supports pupils’ academic progress and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high expectations and consistent behaviour management across the school.
- Contribute actively to the school community and participate in wider school initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1 pupils, ideally Year 2.
- Commitment to promoting inclusion and adapting teaching to meet diverse needs.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child welfare.
Desirable Qualities:
- A passion for both academic excellence and emotional development.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive and dedicated team.
- High expectations for pupil outcomes and behaviour.
