What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a Class Teacher to join us on a part-time basis (Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, and Friday); this is an incredibly rewarding role where you will work alongside a highly passionate team to ensure children are cared for, inspired, and challenged, removing barriers to learning so every child, especially the most vulnerable, can flourish.
We aim to provide the rich soil that enables our children to develop deep roots and flourish. Within our distinctive community, our Christian school nurtures growth, giving courage to face challenges, and abundant opportunities for unique strengths to blossom. We believe that through instilling and modelling our school values of Love, Stewardship, Hope, Trust, and Perseverance, we enable all of our pupils to strive towards a Flourishing Future.
What the school offers its staff
We are an extremely caring and inclusive school. We care about each other, and we are proud of how we work together as part of a wider community; this is through our close links within the Torquay Hub and our wider Trust partnerships. All of our schools are very successful and this is due to the dedication and expertise of an exceptional team of colleagues who are completely committed to improving opportunities for all the children within our organisation. The support of our parents, trustees, and our colleagues, both teaching and non-teaching, from across the Learning Academy Partnership is key to this success.
We can offer you:
- An opportunity to make a profound difference to children’s lives
- A culture that takes work life balance extremely seriously for all its colleagues
- The chance to work as part of a collective in a values-led School Trust, a single organisation
- Opportunities to develop your career with our growing School Trust through our excellent development practice
- A strong, proactive wellbeing network across the School Trust
- Access to a 24-hour Employee Assistance Programme
- Trust benefit schemes
- Generous Teachers Pension Scheme
