Our School: Great Kimble Church of England School is set in the rolling Chiltern Hills, with close links to St Nicholas’ Church. A generous donation of land has provided for a dedicated outdoor learning environment a short walk away across the fields. Last year we were awarded LOtC Gold Mark. In September 2019 Great Kimble started on its journey to expand from an infant to a primary school. From September 2022 it will be an all-through primary school (pupil capacity 105) with teaching in mixed year groups.
Our Vision is based on 1 Corinthians 13:7 “Love never gives up; and it’s faith, hope and patience never fails. In our inclusive Christian Vision all our learning community are welcomed and celebrated. All are nurtured and supported to love, learn, live and grow. Together we live out the values of respect, thankfulness, love, hope, forgiveness and endurance. We aspire to be school community where all can flourish.
Our mission is to provide a rich curriculum where children are educated to become confident, happy and successful learners within a caring Christian community. We believe that effort and attitude towards learning are key indicators for progress and help our children to develop a growth mindset.
We place a very high emphasis on providing equality of opportunity and personalised learning. This ensures that all our pupils are challenged to achieve their very best and make strong progress. We put a high priority on the wellbeing and enjoyment of children and staff, and are proud of our supportive and caring community.
