What skills and experience we're looking for

Huntington Primary Academy are seeking to appoint an excellent teacher to teach a Year 5 class, full time, fixed term from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Has excellent teaching and learning skills.
• Embraces innovation positively and with enthusiasm.
• Contributes to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities and trips.

The contract is for a full time year 5 teacher from 1 September 2026 until the end of the 26-27 academic year.

Huntington Primary Academy is a mixed 5-11 community school on the outskirts of York currently run by a single academy trust (SAT). However we will be joining with Pathfinder MAT.
