St Mary’s Catholic Primary Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Year 6 teacher to join our school. This is a key role within the school, requiring a practitioner with strong classroom practice, high expectations and a proven ability to prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments and transition to secondary school.
The Successful Candidate Will:
Be an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher, ideally with recent Year 6 experience
Have a strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment requirements (including SATs)
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and high standards of teaching and learning
Be committed to inclusive practice and meeting the needs of all learners
Support and promote the Catholic ethos of the school (practising Catholics are encouraged to apply, but this is not essential)
Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive staff team
