We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to support students with a wide range of needs, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
In this role, you will support the development, implementation, and review of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring that individual student needs are met through personalised approaches. You will collaborate with colleagues and families to monitor progress, adapt support strategies, and create a safe, inclusive environment that promotes resilience, emotional wellbeing, and personal development. The role also involves planning and delivering engaging activities, including outdoor learning experiences that encourage participation, teamwork, and confidence building.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs and a relevant qualification in youth work, education, psychology, or a related field. You will bring strong communication and organisational skills, the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and a genuine passion for supporting young people to overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
