About Grange Primary Academy

Grange is 1.5 form entry with a PAN of 45 and pupils are taught across 11 classes. We are proud members of the Greenshaw Learning Trust (GLT), a ‘family’ of like-minded schools, that collaborate to provide mutual support, share their good practice and learn from each other, whilst retaining and developing our own distinctive character.

With 5 other GLT primaries within our Gloucester 'Hub', we work effectively together to deliver a shared curriculum, which has been written or sourced by subject experts. Our curriculums are all planned at a medium and short term level and your role is to familiarise yourself with these and adapt the lessons for the needs of your pupils. To support your induction to our curriculums and pedagogical approaches, you will be given additional PPA time with the opportunity to liaise with another experienced Year 4 colleague in one of our local sister schools.

We are very committed to developing Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as we recognise that they are our leaders of tomorrow. Many of our current leaders began their teaching careers with us, and our ECTs benefit from access to experienced, in-school teacher mentors.
