About Great Addington CofE Primary School

Great Addington C of E Primary is a vibrant and popular school, with committed staff, governors and children. We have an enviable reputation as being the ‘small school’ that gives its children ‘so much.’ We aim to build upon the school's strengths and become an outstanding centre for learning within the community. Our vision for achieving this is through high quality teaching and learning with a commitment to valuing potential in all members of the GA community.

Striving to unlock the talents of all our pupils, we continually challenge them to achieve their best and develop the skills for a lifelong love of learning. No matter where we start in life, we recognise that all have the potential to achieve and at Great Addington Primary, we strive to ensure that they do.

At Great Addington, we have recently undergone extensive site works, now offering a modern working environment for staff and children alike, that retains its special magic. Following a successful Ofsted inspection in March 2023, parents and carers could not speak more highly of our school, with one parent, typical of many, commenting ‘The staff and school are wonderful, and everyone contributes to the community feel of this school.’ Staff ensure that they check of pupil’s well-being every morning and pupils enjoy school and the know that staff care for them.
