About Hunts Grove Primary Academy

We are a growing school situated in the new Hunts Grove development on the edge of Gloucester. We will eventually grow to be a two form entry primary school, with pre-school, and are housed in a new building in the heart of the development.

Currently our school comprises approximately 330 pupils across 12 classes, and our values (linked to British Values) are to be: kind (tolerance), respectful (mutual respect), responsible (democracy) and honest (rule of law), in order to be the BEST you can be (individual liberty). Our school learning attitudes (BEST) are: believe, engage, succeed and try. Our staff promote a positive classroom environment by helping our students thrive through an understanding of the importance of building strong relationships through restorative practices.

Greenshaw Learning Trust is a highly successful multi academy trust that provides excellent quality, comprehensive and inclusive education through primary schools and secondary schools. Our schools are based in London, Surrey, Berkshire, Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire, Bristol and Plymouth. We also have three shared service hubs where our central teams can be based out of. We are building a family of like-minded schools, that collaborate to provide mutual support, share their good practice and learn from each other, whilst retaining and developing their own distinctive character.
