Bordering the Lakes and the Dales and yet surprisingly well-connected, for over 400 years we have forged a strong community ethos providing ‘Scholarship and Care’. We’re immensely proud of our commitment to the highest quality teaching and learning coupled with extraordinary pastoral care. We are a truly comprehensive community in which every child is cared for, supported and stretched, moving on to diverse destinations, from local apprenticeships and college courses to highly selective universities.

Building on our long successful history, we launched our sister school in September 2017 creating a small multi-academy trust of our 2 schools, the Lunesdale Learning Trust. Within this context we can offer ample opportunities for professional development including instructional coaching and mentoring enabling you to fulfil your potential in our high performing, forward thinking community.
