About Marlfields Primary School

At Marlfields Primary Academy we strive for excellence in all we do in school and in the wider community. We provide a place where all can achieve their potential, develop their mind, be creative and cultivate their interests.

Commitment to safeguarding

Marlfields Primary Academy takes the safeguarding and welfare of children extremely seriously. Everyone who comes into contact with our children, their families and carers has a role to play in safeguarding. To fulfil this responsibility effectively, all practitioners ensure their approach within the academy is child centred. We recognise that we form part of the wider safeguarding system for children. This responsibility also ensures we are aware of the behaviour of all in the school community and we maintain an attitude of ‘it could happen here’.
