About Skegness Grammar School

Located in Skegness, Lincolnshire, The Skegness Grammar School is a co-educational grammar school. First opened in 1483 by the founder of Magdalen College Oxford, William de Waynflete, the school has operated on its current site since 1933. After spending some time as a grant-maintained school, it converted to academy status in 2012, and is currently under the sponsorship of the David Ross Education Trust, a multi-academy group responsible for the running of a number of schools across the country.
