About St Michael's CofE Academy

At St Michael’s, we are proud to be a Church of England School. Inclusive and welcoming to all, we celebrate achievement in all its forms and place care and wellbeing at the centre of everything we do. Everyone is nurtured to shine with ambition and to flourish.

High-quality learning opportunities are at the heart of what we do – from academic success to creativity, sport, outdoor learning and personal development. Our extensive grounds and strong SEND provision ensure that every child is supported to thrive and fulfil their potential.

As part of the Enhance Academy Trust, we live out our belief that Together Everyone Achieves More.

Commitment to safeguarding

We are committed to ensuring the actions taken, keep children safe and protect them from harm in all aspects of school life. The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils. The actions that we take to prevent harm, promote well-being, create safe environments, respond to specific issues and vulnerabilities all form part of our safeguarding responsibilities. We recognise our moral and statutory responsibility and make every effort to provide a safe environment underpinned by a culture of openness where both children and adults feel secure, able to talk and believe they are being listened to.
