Malmesbury Park Primary Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join the School in September 2022.

FTE Salary Range: Grade 3, Point 4 – 6, £19,264 - £20,043 per annum; pro rata for part time contract
Actual Salary Range: Grade 3, Point 4 – 6, £14,668 - £15,262
Contract Type: Permanent; term-time.
Contract Hours: 32.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday

About the role
As a member of teaching support staff at Malmesbury Park Primary School, you’ll be working in a team of like-minded individuals who all want the best for the learners in our school. You will be working as part of the teaching support team providing support to the children and staff alike. Your role will require you to work with individuals, small groups and on occasions classes. You will lead intervention groups to ensure children achieve the very best they can.

The ideal candidate will be hard working, friendly and outgoing. They will have an enthusiasm for working with children. They will have experience and a talent for engaging with complex children, encouraging social interaction, developing independence, self esteem and encouraging all individuals to achieve their goals.

About the Trust
Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education. We operate 14 academies in Plymouth, Bournemouth, Dorset and Wiltshire. We are building this Trust on a clear set of values, behaviours and curriculum principles.
