What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will have;
- GCSE Grade C or above in English (Literacy) and Maths (Numeracy) or numeracy and literacy skills equivalent to NVQ Level 2.
- Training in relevant learning and SEN strategies.
- Ability to use ICT effectively to support learning.
- Ability to be self-motivated with a desire to improve own practice/knowledge through self-evaluation and working with others.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing guidance and academic support to 6th Form students. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and supportive community, dedicated to empowering students to achieve their full potential.
As part of this role, you will;
- To support the teaching and learning process under the guidance and direction of the Head of 6th Form.
- Develop a range of strategies to engage individuals and groups of students, often with differing requirements.
- Liaise between student and careers department to arrange appointments.
