Academy Receptionist / Administration Assistant - Required as soon as possible.

Term-time Plus 5 days during the holidays 37 hours per week. 39 weeks per year.

Salary: NJC Grade 4 - £25,185 - £25,583 FTE, pro rata to term-time working

(£21,634- £21,976 payable)

We are seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive School Receptionist / Administration Assistant to be the welcoming face of Cloughwood Academy. This vital front-of-house role ensures the smooth running of daily visitor and contractor management, safeguarding compliance, and supports key administrative functions. Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and contractors, ensuring they are signed in and comply with safeguarding protocols

Manage home-to-school transport arrangements for our pupils

Handle ordering and inventory of ink for school reprographics

Maintain and update student registers accurately

Provide general administrative support to the busy school office team

Qualifications & Experience

Previous experience in a reception or administrative role, ideally within an educational setting would be beneficial but not essential.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately

Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and commitment to compliance

Competence in basic IT and office equipment use
