Salary: £18,651 per annum

Could your organisation, warmth and quiet dedication help create the calm, welcoming environment where every child can thrive?

At Corpus Christi, we believe that a school flourishes not only because of its teachers and leaders, but also thanks to the people who work behind the scenes every day - those who offer a friendly face at the front desk, keep essential information running smoothly, and make sure children, families and staff feel supported from the moment they walk through the door.

As our Administration Assistant, you will play a vital part in the heartbeat of school life. Your care for the small details, your calm approach during busy moments, and your genuine commitment to helping others all contribute to the nurturing, joyful atmosphere that enables our pupils to learn and grow with confidence.

Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School is a warm, ambitious and caring community. We are looking for someone who brings both skill and kindness - someone who understands that excellent administration helps create a school where everyone feels valued, safe and supported.

What you’ll do:

  • Be a calm, friendly and reassuring presence at the school office - welcoming visitors, answering calls and helping parents with day-to-day queries, using your excellent communication skills and warm, professional manner.
  • Support the smooth running of daily school life by keeping essential records accurate and up to date, drawing on your strong organisation, ICT skills and attention to detail.
  • Help manage pupil information, attendance and general administrative systems, using your ability to multitask, prioritise and stay composed during busy moments.
  • Assist with a wide range of administrative tasks - from preparing letters and communications to coordinating bookings, school trips, clubs and routine office duties - making good use of your problem-solving skills and positive, “can-do” attitude.
  • Work closely with staff to make sure pupils’ daily needs are met, whether processing forms, updating contact or medical details, arranging lunches or helping with practical tasks, showing empathy and a supportive, team-focused approach.

At Corpus Christi, you will find:

  • Children who are enthusiastic, kind and eager to learn.
  • A genuinely supportive and collaborative staff team.
  • A school where wellbeing and professional trust are valued.
  • Opportunities for training, development and growing your expertise.
  • A strong sense of community where every member is known and valued.

This role offers a genuine opportunity to make a difference. Your work will help shape the calm, friendly and supportive atmosphere that allows our school community to feel safe, welcome and ready to learn. If you’re seeking a role with purpose - one where your contribution truly matters - we’d be delighted to hear from you.

Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School is proud to be part of The Dunstan Catholic Educational Trust, offering excellent professional development and collaboration across a family of schools throughout the South West.
